Probably unlikely Eggy, as Man Utd have only been building up support since Fergie and Celtic are just certain areas of Britain.
Am sure I once read that other than around the obvious areas (Manchester/London) their support basically covers all of England.
They dominated in a time when people were loyal enough to make their younger siblings and then kids support them.
Nowadays the plastics just support who's winning and it doesn't rub off on others.

Streets around E13 were chocker with nicked cars tonight. Rob one to come down and another to go back. Who needs trains if you are a grieving bin dipper.
In 1967 my mate promised the denizens of a pub in Glasgow that he would take them to the match.
So he went to a bus garage, decided on a double decker and drove it to the pub. He then drove his mates to Wembley to see the game.
After a night on the town he then drove the bus, and his mates back to Glasgow.
The Mistake
My mate was not a thief but an honest man. He had borrowed the bus not stolen it. Having dropped off his friends at the pub he took the bus back to the garage, got arrested and wes sent down for 6 months
